Delivery Policy

Last updated: [date — to be confirmed before going live]

This Delivery Policy outlines how True Blue Turf Farm (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles the delivery of turf and lawn care products. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below. For full details of our delivery zones and pricing, please visit our Delivery Zones & Pricing page.

1. Delivery Coverage

True Blue Turf Farm delivers fresh-cut turf across a wide region of Western Australia — from Perth in the north to Augusta in the south, and inland throughout the Southwest. Delivery is available to residential, commercial and rural properties located within our designated delivery zones.

We do not currently deliver outside these zones. If you are unsure whether your address is eligible for delivery, please contact us before placing your order.

2. Delivery Zones & Pricing

Delivery fees are based on your delivery zone. The zone applicable to your address determines the delivery fee charged at checkout. All delivery fees include GST.

Delivery zone boundaries and fees may be updated from time to time. The fee displayed at checkout is the fee applicable to your confirmed order.

For our full delivery fee structure, zone boundaries and the interactive zone map, please visit our Delivery Zones & Pricing page.

3. Delivery Days

Our delivery truck services different regions on specific days of the week — please refer to our Delivery Zones & Pricing page for full details.

We do not deliver on Mondays, weekends, or public holidays.

Please check our Delivery Zones & Pricing page or contact us to confirm the next available delivery day for your location.

4. Minimum Order Quantity

A minimum order of 50 square metres (m²) is required for delivery. Orders under 50m² must be collected from our Bunbury Showroom at 4/185 Blair Street, South Bunbury.

There is no minimum order for showroom pickup.

5. Order Lead Time

All turf orders require a minimum of 3 days’ notice to allow time for harvesting, processing and delivery scheduling.

Orders placed with less than 3 days’ notice may not be accommodated. During peak seasons (spring and summer), we recommend placing your order as early as possible.

When selecting your preferred delivery date, please factor in the next available delivery day for your zone.

6. Freshness & Perishability

All turf is harvested fresh to order from our Ludlow farm. Turf is never stockpiled.

Because turf is a living, perishable product, it must be laid on the same day it is delivered or collected wherever possible.

True Blue Turf Farm accepts no responsibility for deterioration caused by:

  • Delayed laying
  • Improper storage
  • Excessive heat exposure
  • Site not being prepared prior to delivery

7. Delivery Method

Turf is transported on our delivery truck and unloaded using a forklift.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:

  • Safe, clear forklift access
  • Adequate space for unloading
  • No hazards that may impede delivery

If safe access cannot be achieved, turf will be placed at the nearest safe kerbside location.

We are not liable for damage to driveways, paths, landscaping or property where reasonable access has been provided.

8. Placement of Turf on Delivery

If the customer is present and safe access is available, our driver will place the turf where instructed.

If the customer is not present or no instructions are provided, turf will be placed at the nearest safe kerbside location.

We strongly recommend being present at delivery to ensure turf is placed where you need it.

True Blue Turf is not responsible for placement issues arising from:

  • Customer absence
  • Lack of instructions
  • Unsafe or inaccessible areas

9. Pallet Delivery

Standard delivery does not include turf being delivered and left on a pallet. Turf rolls are pushed off in a stack by default.

If you require your turf to be delivered on a pallet — for example for easier handling on construction or building sites — please request this when placing your order by calling 08 9754 8873.

An additional pallet charge applies because turf must be hand-loaded onto the pallet. Pallet requests cannot be accommodated after an order has been confirmed.

10. Showroom Pick-Up

Customers may collect turf from our Bunbury Showroom at:

4/185 Blair Street, South Bunbury
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays — 9am to 4:30pm (Closed weekends and public holidays)

Turf is harvested fresh on order. It is the customer’s responsibility to collect turf on the agreed date.

We accept no liability for deterioration caused by late collection.

11. Delays & Disruptions

While we make every effort to deliver on schedule, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather
  • Road closures
  • Vehicle breakdown
  • Public holidays
  • Emergency events

If a significant disruption occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative delivery date.

12. Failed Delivery

A delivery may be considered failed if:

  • The address provided is incorrect
  • Access is restricted or unsafe
  • No one is available to accept delivery where required
  • Delivery instructions cannot be followed safely

In these cases, turf will be:

  • Left kerbside where safe, or
  • Returned to our facility

A redelivery fee may apply. Because turf is perishable, we cannot guarantee the condition of turf that is returned and redelivered.

True Blue Turf accepts no responsibility for deterioration caused by failed delivery due to customer factors.
