Our story
True Blue Turf was established in 2004 with a simple but ambitious purpose — to grow and supply the finest quality turf in the Southwest of Western Australia, backed by a level of service that is second to none. Over the past two decades, that purpose has never wavered.
From our farm conveniently located between Busselton and Capel, and our specialist showroom in Bunbury, we have grown to become the largest turf supplier in the Southwest — with close to half a million square metres of premium turf in production. The fast-growing communities of the Southwest have been our home, and serving them has been our privilege.

In late 2025, True Blue Turf entered an exciting new chapter. A local Southwest family — with agricultural roots stretching back to 1999 in Australia — took over the business, bringing with them a wealth of farming experience and a deep, personal connection to the land.
Involved with farming in South Africa from 1987, the new owners have farmed across some of Australia’s most diverse and challenging landscapes — from the rolling Perth Hills, to the arid Kimberley, to the remote Northern Territory. Since 2015, they have called the Southwest home, farming avocados and cattle before finding their next chapter in turf. Their passion for agriculture, their respect for the land, and their commitment to this community are woven into everything True Blue Turf does.

Our farm
Our farm is located in Ludlow (between Busselton and Capel) in the heart of Southwest WA — a region with the ideal climate and soil conditions for growing premium turf. The farm is home to close to half a million square metres of Kenda Kikuyu and Sapphire Buffalo, all grown using careful agronomic practices to ensure the highest quality product for our customers.
Every roll of turf is cut fresh to your order — we never stockpile. This means the turf that arrives at your property is at its absolute best: full of life, packed with roots, and ready to establish quickly.
The Ludlow farm is not open to the public. Landscapers and trade customers can arrange farm gate collection during dedicated opening hours — see Contact Us for details.
