Ordering & Pick-up
We grow two premium turf varieties: Kenda® Kikuyu — a tough, hard-wearing, drought-hardy lawn we’re the exclusive supplier of in the Southwest — and Sapphire® Soft Leaf Buffalo, a soft, shade-tolerant, low-allergy lawn. Both are cut fresh to order. See each variety for pricing and details, or read our Kikuyu vs Buffalo comparison to help you choose.
Measure the length and width of your area in metres and multiply them for the square metres, then add around 5% for cuts and shaping around edges. The lawn calculator on our Buy Turf page does the maths for you — just enter your measurements.
Yes. You can collect from our Bunbury Showroom at 4/185 Blair Street, South Bunbury on our pick-up days — Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. There’s no minimum order for showroom pick-up. (Orders under 50m² must be collected rather than delivered.)
Our turf farm is in Ludlow, between Busselton and Capel — this is where your turf is grown and cut fresh. Our specialist showroom is at 4/185 Blair Street, South Bunbury. Please note the farm is not open to the public; landscapers and trade can arrange farm-gate collection by contacting us.
Delivery
The minimum order for delivery is 50 square metres. Orders under 50m² must be collected from our Bunbury Showroom at 4/185 Blair Street, South Bunbury. There is no minimum order for showroom pick-up.
Find your suburb against the zone map and zone details on our Delivery Zones & Pricing page — each zone lists its north, south and east boundaries. If you’re near a boundary or unsure, call us on 08 9754 8873 and we’ll confirm your zone and price.
All delivery orders require a minimum of 3 days notice. Delivery days also vary by area, so check your segment’s delivery days on our Delivery Zones & Pricing page and allow time for the next available day when placing your order.
Your turf is unloaded by forklift. If you’re onsite and there’s safe forklift access, our driver will place it where you direct. If no safe access is available or no instructions are given, it’s delivered to the nearest safe kerbside location.
Our driver unloads using a forklift. If you are onsite at the time of delivery and there is safe, accessible forklift access, our driver will place your turf where instructed. If no instructions are provided or safe access is not available, your turf will be delivered to the nearest safe kerbside location. We recommend being onsite at the time of delivery to direct placement.
Turf rolls are not delivered on pallets as standard. If you need your turf on a pallet — for example for handling on a building or construction site — please call our Bunbury Showroom when placing your order. A pallet charge applies as turf rolls are hand-loaded onto the pallet prior to delivery.
No problem — we’ll book you in for the next available delivery day for your area. Because each segment only runs on certain days, this may be the following week. Call us on 08 9754 8873 if you need a hand.
Yes — as long as it’s before the 3-day cut-off for your delivery day. Call our Bunbury Showroom on 08 9754 8873 as early as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate the change.
Installation
Turf installation is carried out by our trusted local subcontractor. True Blue Turf coordinates the entire process — from your initial enquiry through to booking and completion — so you only need to deal with us.
No — installation covers the professional laying of your turf. Site preparation (clearing, levelling and applying starter fertiliser) needs to be done before installation day. If you’re not sure what’s required, call us and we’ll advise.
It depends on the size and access of your site, but most residential lawns are laid within a day. We’ll give you a clearer idea when we prepare your quote.
It’s not essential, as long as the installer has clear access to the site. We’ll confirm access details with you when booking so everything runs smoothly on the day.
Yes — that’s exactly what we coordinate. We’ll prepare one combined quote covering turf supply, delivery and installation, so it’s all handled in a single booking.
Our installer covers areas in and around Bunbury and Busselton, and will travel further afield for larger jobs. Get in touch and we’ll confirm coverage for your location.
Turf care & choosing
Because we cut every roll fresh to order, watering it in thoroughly on the day it’s laid is essential. Our step-by-step How to Lay Turf guide covers watering, mowing and aftercare for the first six weeks so your new lawn establishes quickly.
It depends on your yard’s sun and shade, how much wear it gets, and the look and feel you want. We’ve written a full side-by-side comparison of Kenda Kikuyu and Sapphire Soft Leaf Buffalo to help you decide.
