This combination of herbicide and controlled released fertlisier allows for pre-emergent control of Summer Grass, Crabgrass and WIntergrass in turf, whilst providing nutrition to the turfgrass, with its slow release nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
Pre-Emergent Weed Control powered by Oxadiazon
Oxadiazon is a market-leading pre-emergent herbicide with a unique shoot-absorption mode of action. Unlike many pre-emergents that affect roots, Oxadiazon destroys emerging weed shoots while allowing turf roots to develop freely — resulting in superior turf quality and safer establishment.
It provides 3–4 months of residual control of:
- Summergrass (Digitaria ciliaris)
- Crabgrass
- Crowsfoot (Eleusine indica)
- Wintergrass (Poa annua)
- Creeping Oxalis (Oxalis corniculata)
By stopping weeds before they emerge, OxaMAX prevents competition for water, nutrients and space, eliminating the need for unreliable post-emergent sprays.
Controlled-Release nutrition for Stronger Turf
OxaMAX’s 18-10-9 controlled-release fertiliser supports both establishment and recovery, making it ideal for high-traffic and renovated surfaces.
The fertiliser provides:
- Slow-release nitrogen for sustained green colour and density
- Phosphorus to promote root development and establishment
- Potassium and sulphur to improve stress tolerance and turf resilience
- This balanced nutrition allows turf to recover faster, grow thicker and resist weed invasion naturally.
